About

A bit about me and my Albery Studio....

I have always been interested in Art and Photography and when I retired, I started Albery Studio, named for my three grandchildren Alexandre, Benjamin and Ryan. In 2005 I became interested in woodturning and set up a lathe and associated workshop.

I am an active  member og the Fraser Valley Woodturners Guild and I am a past member of the Chilliwack Visual Artists Association.  I exhibit all three facets of my work in a variety of local venues and craft festivals such as the Chilliwack Gallery, Art on The Farm and the Harrison Festival of the Arts. My turned wood items are on sale through local Art and Handicraft shops and the Great Blue Heron Reserve in Chilliwack. In 2014, I was accepted as a member of the Craft Council of British Columbia and a selection of my turned wood items are on display for sale at the Craft House on Granville Island in Vancouver and at their Gift Shop at Vancouver International Airport.

I have set up this website in response to advice from a number of fellow artists, turners and friends who have urged me to seek wider attention to my work.
