Artwork and Photography

All my artwork shown here is created digitally using my laptop and Artrage software. The process is not one of  taking a photograph and pushing a button to emulate any particular medium, but rather working plein-air or having photographs as reference material and using my imagination as necessary. The actual drafting is done via a graphics pad and stylus, carrying out  strokes much the same as would be used with a pencil or brush on paper or canvas. Pencils, brushes, palette knife etc can be selected as tools and colours can be selected from an infinitely and subtly  variable palette. Paper and Canvas textures can  be selected as required, as can the finished image size. Upon completion the image is exported as a .jpg file and can then be printed on any chosen medium. I generally use canvas which can then put onto a stretcher frame. For mailing, canvas is rolled into a tube.
Prices do not  include postage as this is dependent on destination. Insurance, and any import duties or taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser.
